LexVoca · Words, called.

Speak. Write. Do.

Speak naturally. LexVoca types your words where your cursor is, tidied and in the right tone for each app if you like. Ask, and it opens apps and folders, drafts terminal commands for you to check, and keeps your notes and reminders.

Three ways to turn speech into text.

The same app either way. Choose where your speech is turned into text, and switch whenever you like. AI features such as tidying and Your Voices use your NeuroDynamic account whichever you pick.

On this PC

Speech is recognised on your computer, and your recordings stay there. Speed and accuracy depend on the model you download and your hardware. No account needed for speech.

Provider or own server

A speech provider with your own key, or a Whisper-compatible server you control. Your provider’s limits apply.

Set up your own →

NeuroDynamic hosted

Fast, accurate speech with your NeuroDynamic account. Sign in once and it also works in ClaraVoca and ITSpecta.

Everything your voice can do.

Start simple. The rest is there when you want it.

Dictate into your apps

Email, documents, chat, browsers and terminals, with extra help for remote desktops and virtual machines.

With tidying on: “um, so the launch is slipping” → The launch is slipping.

Your Voices

The right tone for each app: polished in Outlook, friendly in Teams, clear in Word. Or keep it just as you say it.

Check important text before you send it

Trigger phrases

Templates, links and standard replies in a couple of words.

“email signature” → your whole sign-off

Get around by voice

Open apps and folders by your own names, and switch windows.

“open my emails” · “open downloads”

Commands in terminals

Plain requests become a command line for your shell. You check it and press Enter.

In Bash: “show disk space” → df -hT

Super Paste

Types the clipboard into VMs, web consoles and remote sessions that ignore Ctrl + V.

“voca paste” or Alt + Shift + X

Tasks and notes

Say it once. Notes are filed, and reminders pop up while LexVoca is running and your PC is awake.

“note that…” · “remind me to…”

Your words

Teach it names and jargon in the Dictionary. With learning switched on, it can pick up your corrections.

Hands-free

Say a phrase instead of pressing a key, in a supported window. Choose your own phrases.

“voca listen” · “voca again” · “voca paste”

Show what you need. Hide the rest.

Three quick questions on first run, and LexVoca suggests a profile. Switch any time.

Dictate

Emails, documents and chat. Speak, and your words land where you’re typing.

Assisted

Use the keyboard less, with help reading and spelling. Works alongside ClaraVoca.

Technical

Terminals, servers, virtual machines and consoles, with Super Paste and per-app rules.

Your words stay yours.

History stays on your PC

Your saved dictations and activity are kept on your computer until you delete them.

Your choice of speech

On this PC, your own server, or ours. Switch any time.

Processed on our own servers

Hosted speech runs on NeuroDynamic’s own servers. Results are held briefly in memory so an interrupted request can be recovered.

Help and guides.

Everything you need to set up LexVoca and get the most from it.

Good questions.

Is LexVoca free?

Yes. Speech on your PC is free. Hosted speech and AI features come with your free NeuroDynamic account, within its allowance.

Does it work offline?

Speech can. Choose “On this PC” and your speech is recognised on your computer. AI features such as tidying still use your NeuroDynamic account, so they need a connection.

Will it type into terminals and virtual machines?

Yes, in most. You check each command before pressing Enter, and Super Paste types into consoles that ignore Ctrl + V. Some consoles capture keys, so a mouse button or the tray menu can help.

Linux?

A Linux version of LexVoca is in development.

Less typing. More doing.
