For the current Windows build

Version 2.25.0 still needs a manually issued hosted key. App sign-in is coming in an update; a website account alone won’t connect this installer. Existing beta keys keep their separate grants.

How the hosted free allowance works

300 dictated words per account per UTC day, resetting at midnight UTC. Free recordings can be up to 60 seconds long. A recording already accepted finishes even if it takes you past the daily allowance; further recordings wait for the reset. Other service limits and available capacity still apply.

Murmur never charges for transcription it doesn't run.

Own-server use has no Murmur transcription fee or word limit; your server’s capacity still applies. This does not mean a future monthly subscription automatically refunds unused days. The installer does not provide offline transcription by itself.
