Exam accommodations: how long did your approval actually take?

Booking my first cert exam since diagnosis (Linux+, via Pearson VUE) and the accommodations guide here says allow 4–6 weeks for approval.

Collecting real data points: which vendor, what you asked for, how long approval took, and any surprises? Feels like the kind of thing where the official guidance and reality diverge.

Cisco, +50% time, diagnosis letter from an adult assessment: approved in 9 days. The surprise: approval attaches to the profile, so recerts needed nothing. The 4–6 weeks is worst-case, but don't book the exam first - you can't add accommodations to an existing booking.

CompTIA, same ask: 6 working days. The educational psychologist report was the slow part - 5 weeks and £400. Worth asking work to fund it via occupational health, which I learned from this site and it worked.
